New CGL Examination Dates for 2021
The Centre for the Greek Language (CGL) in Thessaloniki, Greece, has announced the new dates for this year’s CGL Examinations, which were postponed from May as a result of COVID-19. The Examinations will take place in October and will be spread over 4 days to allow for social distancing in the examination rooms. Levels Date A1 (8-12 year olds) Monday 4 October 2021 A1 (adolescents & adults) Monday 4 October 2021 C2 Monday 4 October 2021 A2 Tuesday 5 October 2021 C1 Tuesday 5 October 2021 B1 Wednesday 6 October 2021 B2 Thursday 7 October 2021 *Please note that these dates fall in the second week of the school holidays in WA. The CGL Examinations will take place at St. Andrew’s Grammar, with details to be provided closer to the date. Registration Candidates who have already registered and paid for these examinations are in the system; however, a new window is now offered for othercandidates or those candidates who did not get the opportunity to register earlier this year. Interested candidates can now apply from Tuesday 1 June to Monday 28 June, by completing the attached forms and providing photographic ID. Fees have been set by Greece and are as follows:
Electronic transfer of payment is preferred and the details are as follows: Commonwealth Bank BSB: 06 6157 Account Number: 1034 5709 Forms Please read the Terms and Conditions of the Application 2021document and sign and date the relevant page; then complete in fullthe application form that follows, and the relevant Questionnaire document. The Examination Centre's number is 61002, already included on the form. You do notsupply your own code; the CGL does that. Once completed, please scan and email the forms to me at: [email protected], or hand them to CGL Committee member, Mrs Katerina Reklitis, at St. Andrew’s Grammar. Your completed forms, which include the signed and dated Terms and Conditions, the Application form, and the relevant Questionnaire, as well as your fee payment, must be received by Monday 28 June, 2021. Please include photo ID; i.e., Student ID, Passport, Driver’s License, etc. Scanned documents are acceptable. If you are a previous candidate of the CGL, your ID forms are not needed. Thank you.
